EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS
Richard Neal Jr., President
Richard Neal Jr., is a 22 year veteran of the SEPTA Transit Police Department. Rich has 12 years of union experience. He is serving his second term as president. Rich held the positions of vice president and steward. Rich’s primary responsibility is the day to day operation of the union.
Edward Kaiser, 1st Vice President
Edward Kaiser is an 18 year veteran police officer of the SEPTA Transit Police Department. Eddie has 13 years of experience on the executive board. He is in his fifth term as vice president and he previously held the position of trustee. Eddie currently assumes responsibility for contractual matters, grievances, and disciplinary representations.
Kenneth Pooler, 2nd Vice President
Kenneth Pooler has worked 24 years as a SEPTA police officer. He joined the SEPTA Transit Police Department July 1990. Kenny is our most experienced member; he has 14 years of officiating union experience. Kenny is in his second term as vice president. He has previously held the positions of steward, trustee and vice president.
Solomon Edwards Jr., Recording Secretary
Solomon Edwards Jr., has 20 years experience as a SEPTA transit police officer; he joined the SEPTA Transit Police Department in 1990. Sol is in his second term as recording secretary. He has 6 years experience as a union official. Sol previously held the positions of steward and trustee. Sol helps with the daily operation of the union.
Donald Uhl, Treasurer
Donald Uhl has 20 years of experience as a police officer for SEPTA Transit Police Department. Don is in his second term as treasurer. He has 5 years experience as a union official. Don’s primary responsibility is contractual and financial matters.
Travis Crosby, Trustee/Executive Officer
Travis Crosby has worked for the SEPTA Transit Police Department since 1993. Trav has 17 years experience as a police officer. He has 9 years experience as a union official and is in his fourth term as a trustee. His responsibilities include grievances, disciplinary, and contractual matters.
Michael Davies, Trustee/Sergeant of Arms
Michael Davies has worked for the SEPTA Transit Police Department since 1994 and he has been a police officer for 16 years. Mike has been a union official for 7 years; He is in his third term as trustee. Mike’s responsibilities include grievances and disciplinary matters.
Thomas Merceir, Trustee
Thomas Merceir joined the SEPTA Transit Police Department in 1993. Tom has 19 years of experience as a police officer. Tom has been a union official for 5 years and he is in his second term as a trustee. Tom previously held the position of interim secretary. Tom’s responsibilities include grievances and disciplinary matters.
James Zuggi, Trustee
James Zuggi joined the SEPTA Transit Police Department in 1999. Jim has been a police officer for 11 years. Jim is in his second term as a trustee, and he has 3 years experience as a union official. He currently assumes primary responsibility for grievances and disciplinary representation.
John Cicala, Trustee
John Cicala joined the SEPTA Transit Police Department in 1993; he has 18 years experience as a police officer. John has 2 years of experience as a union official. He is in his first term as a trustee. John’s primary responsibility are fact finder, grievances, and disciplinary representation.
John Gerretz, Trustee
John Gerretz has 12 years experience as a SEPTA transit police officer; he has been a police officer since 1999. John is in his first term as a trustee, and he has more than one year experience as a union official. John’s primary responsibilities are grievances and disciplinary representation.
